Job Summary

Principal IT is seeking a skilled 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to strategic projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to identify customer issues, complete builds of laptops, mobile phones, and iPads, and triage new and old customer issues.
  • Issue Resolution: Take ownership of customer issues and work to resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Security and Compliance: Be proactive and observant with any potential security risks and contribute to the management of strategic projects as identified by the Service Desk Manager.

Requirements:

  • Technical Knowledge: Have a great knowledge of SLA, a good working knowledge of MS Windows, and an understanding of Windows Server, MS Exchange, and AD (Users and Computers).
  • Experience: Have experience of Mobile Device and Application Management across Microsoft, Apple, and Android Platforms.
  • Certifications: ITIL Foundation Certified is desirable, as is experience with Airwatch Mobile Device Management.
