We are seeking a highly skilled Water Hygiene Specialist to join our team at Guardian Water Treatment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expertise and managing optimum service delivery to maintain total customer satisfaction with the services provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead technician or 'responsible person' when working in a team of two or more technicians.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with current legislation and is documented.
  • Have skills in line with levels 1 & 2 as well as either:
    • Technical service (closed heating and chilled system testing, cooling tower weekly/monthly checks and water treatment of boilers)
    • Plumbing & water treatment remedial skills
    • Acid descaling of boilers, towers and condensers.
  • Maintain and promote Health and Safety standards within your team, to sub- contractors, and to clients to company standards and procedures.
  • Plan to ensure work as scheduled is completed on time, and to maximum efficiency.
  • Carry out multiple tasks in a range of works disciplines and take responsibility for identifying personal training needs and bringing these to the attention of your Line Manager.
  • Train less experienced technicians/engineers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full Driving License to travel to client sites
  • Previous experience as a Water Hygiene Technician
  • Experience in acid descaling of boilers, towers, and condensers
  • Confined space trained (advantageous)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Demonstrate behaviours in line with our company values: Sustainability, Trust, Accountability, Respect and Safety
