Job Title: Department Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, check, and/or approve design calculations, specifications, data sheets, reports, scope of work, and drawings to British/International Standards and Codes of Practice.
  • Monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, and client standards.
  • Provide specialist design input to 3D models.
  • Prepare Technical Analysis of proposals provided by equipment manufacturers and contractors.
  • Attend and participate in safety reviews, risk reviews, planning reviews, model reviews, and constructability reviews.
  • Comply with Company Quality Manager Systems.
  • Background in Heavy Engineering/Chemical/Petrochemical/Oil & Gas Industries preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of instrument & control experience, preferably in oil & gas, chemicals, and/or other high hazard process industries.
  • Ability to allocate work appropriately to design staff and monitor progress to meet project needs.
  • Ability to work in both design office and operating plant environments.
  • Comfortable dealing directly with both Clients and Vendors at all levels of the business.
  • Expertise using MS office suite and some knowledge of AutoCAD.
