About the Role

We are seeking an Aspiring Child Psychologist to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting children with their emotional and mental health needs.

Our ideal candidate will have a passion for working with vulnerable children and a strong understanding of the importance of creating a positive and safe learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and shadow the class teacher to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Provide 1:1 support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons to promote emotional wellbeing and mental health
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in a field such as psychology, social work, or education
  • Experience working with children with SEN or mental health needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
