Experienced Veterinary Nurse for Dynamic Team

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team in West Thurrock. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the continued development and success of our practice.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily running of the practice, ensuring high standards of patient care and client satisfaction.
- Conduct treatments, including injections, medication, fluid therapy, and first aid, as directed by veterinary surgeons.
- Take X-rays and assist with diagnostic procedures, including anaesthesia and surgeries.
- Nurse in-patients, including intensive care, pain scoring, and enrichment regimes.
- Triage patients for veterinary surgeon attention and dispense drugs according to professional guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in veterinary nursing (e.g., Level 3 Diploma or degree).
- Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) or equivalent governing body.
- Relevant clinical experience working in a veterinary practice or hospital.
- Proficiency in general nursing duties, including patient care, administering medication, and monitoring anaesthesia.
- Experience handling various animal species and knowledge of animal anatomy, diseases, and treatments.

Working Hours:
