Job Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop a quality team based at our facility in Reading, ensuring effective processes and adherence to industry standards.
- Quality Management Reviews: Lead and manage the process of quality management reviews to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Oversee quality processes, drive improvements using Lean Management System (LMS), and ensure risk is mitigated.
- Customer Interface: Serve as the primary quality interface for customers and suppliers, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Non-Conformance Management: Manage non-conformances to ensure prompt investigation and closure.
- Culture Promotion: Promote a customer-focused quality culture in the site.
- Metric Management: Contribute to strategic planning and manage quality metrics and KPIs.
- Audit and Risk Management: Conduct internal and supplier audits, address non-conformance, and ensure effective risk management.
Requirements:
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related subject.
- Experience: Proven track record in quality management and process improvement.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of EN9100 and regulatory requirements.
Location: Site Based – Reading
Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
