About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Customer Delivery Driver to join our team at Tesco. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive their shopping in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver customer shopping trips with a smile, ensuring that all products are delivered in good condition and that customers are satisfied with their experience.
  • Load and unload vans, ensuring that they are clean and tidy, and that all products are securely stored.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their queries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, and to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed, and that all health and safety guidelines are adhered to.

Requirements

  • A valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • A commitment to providing excellent customer service, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations.
