Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a highly experienced HSQE Compliance Specialist to join their team based in Brentwood, Essex.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in the Rail industry, holding a minimum of 3 years within this sector.

The ideal candidate will have a valid PTS ticket and Nebosh Certificate / Qualification, as well as a Full UK Driving License.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, monitor, and audit safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  2. Maintain engagement with Network Rail's RISQS standards to guarantee adherence to strict industry guidelines.
  3. Manage HSQE and Compliance activities to align with business objectives, fostering a culture of excellence.
  4. Identify and implement initiatives aimed at improving quality and efficiency.
  5. Conduct safety stand downs in accordance with RISQ standards.
  6. Compile and maintain risk assessments, method statements, and policies for company activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Nebosh qualified with comprehensive knowledge of safety and operational issues.
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience in the rail industry with a valid PTS ticket.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word and Excel, with a willingness to travel and learn.

Salary Estimate: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. This salary range reflects the high level of expertise required for this position and its impact on the success of our operations.
