We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Landscape Planning Manager to lead our landscape planning work in the South West and South Wales. As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership and technical expertise to support staff development and ensure the delivery of high-quality landscape planning services.

The successful candidate will have experience in landscape planning and LVIA for minerals, renewables, and other infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, managing project resources, and ensuring the quality of work. In addition, you will provide technical leadership in specialist areas, including methodologies and approaches, and promote excellence, challenge, and review.

The ideal candidate will have a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) and a postgraduate or master's degree in landscape architecture. You will also have excellent report writing skills and a driving license.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional leadership for landscape planning work in the South West and South Wales.
  • Support staff development and ensure technical expertise is retained and developed.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and manage project resources.
  • Ensure the quality of work and provide technical leadership in specialist areas.
  • Carry out landscape and visual appraisals, feasibility, screening, and scoping studies.

Person Specification:

  • Experience in landscape planning and LVIA for minerals, renewables, and other infrastructure projects.
