Join Our Team as a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

AESC UK is a leading electric vehicle manufacturer based in Sunderland, with a reputation for excellence and innovation. We're seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of our quality management systems.

About the Role:

  • Develop and maintain the existing Quality Management System to ensure it meets the company's objectives.
  • Work closely with corporate teams to implement group-level processes and documentation aligned with certified standards and industry best practices.
  • Coordinate and facilitate customer audits and third-party audits (such as certification and surveillance audits).
  • Plan internal audit schedules - system/process/product audits across multiple production sites.
  • Conduct internal system/process/product audits across various production sites.
  • Monitor NCR and OFI status, including supporting auditees with corrective action/improvement plans.
  • Supervise QMS technicians and provide training on Quality Management System principles as needed.

Requirements:

  • HNC or equivalent in related Quality Assurance/Systems/engineering or science subject.
  • Lead Auditor certification and experience preferred – IATF16949 / VDA6.3 or other certificated/regulated standards
  • Extensive experience of Quality Management System - IATF 16949:2016 / ISO9001:2015 / VDA6.3:2023 or other certificated management systems - system implementation, development and maintenance experience
  • Experience of third-party audit / customer audit.
  • Internal systems audit – experience of planning, conducting, monitoring.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office experience

What We Offer:
