Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping us deliver our Net Zero commitment and will be responsible for leading our sustainability initiatives across various pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the execution of our strategic aims, including Food Waste Reduction, Ethical Trade, Zero Waste to Landfill, Net Zero, and Packaging initiatives.
  • Build network with industry bodies, such as WRAP, FDF, and ETI, to ensure our sustainability initiatives are at the forefront of industry.
  • Develop and implement effective partnerships across the ethical and sustainable sector, bringing real value to Apetito and its customers.
  • Work closely with the Director of Corporate Affairs/Public Relations/Marketing to ensure our internal and external communications share our progress and successes.
Requirements
  • A degree or equivalent qualification related to sustainability.
  • Proven sustainability and business knowledge.
  • Understanding of effective stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration.
  • Strong influencer with excellent all-round communication skills who inspires and motivates.
  • Well-organised and able to think strategically.
