Advanced Radiographer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated radiographer to join our team as part of the Humber and North Yorkshire Healthcare Partnership (HNY) NHS MOBILE CT SERVICE, supporting Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC).

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a radiographer to provide a mobile CT service to patients closer to their home, using state-of-the-art Canon Aquillion Prime SP 160 CT scanners installed on expandable trailers.

Main duties include administering contrast media independently without medical supervision, trained to ILS level, and providing a mobile service to supplement CT services in York & Scarborough Trust, North Lincolnshire and Goole Trust, and Hull University Teaching Hospitals Trust.

You will be employed by Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust but will work across the HNY region. Travel expenses and accommodation will be provided when necessary. A substantial relocation package will be available for applicants outside the area.

Clinical Professional Development (CPD) will be actively encouraged and supported within the role.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• BSc/DCR in Diagnostic Radiography (Essential)
• HCPC Registration (Essential)

Desirable Qualifications:

• PgC in CT (Desirable)

Skills and Experience:

• Cannulation skills (Essential)
• Post-graduation experience in Radiography (Essential)

Salary Information:

The estimated salary range for this role is £45,753 - £67,879 per annum.
