Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and maintain accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making.
- Financial Management
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Manage and maintain the company's financial systems, including accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance
- Prepare and submit financial reports to stakeholders, including management, board members, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.
- Leadership and Development
- Lead and manage a team of finance professionals to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of finance team members.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA) with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. You should have a strong understanding of financial management principles, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Xero is essential.
Skills and Competencies
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels. You should be a strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset, able to provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support business growth.
