About the Role

Allica Bank is seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join our Second Line of Defence team. As a key member of our Risk and Compliance function, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective management of operational risk across the bank.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF), including related Second Line policies and procedures. You will also support the Senior Operational Risk Manager in implementing the bank's Operational Risk Assurance plan.

Key responsibilities include undertaking control testing and assurance reviews, working with the First Line of Defence to support the bank's Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), and maintaining the bank's risk event reporting system and processes.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide hands-on Operational Risk support across the bank from a Second Line perspective
  • Operational Risk assurance, including Controls Testing - provision of assurance, reporting and identification capability to provide a full picture of the bank's Operational Risks and related controls
  • Support the wider Compliance team colleagues to help embed the Three Lines of Defence, providing advice and guidance as necessary
  • Monitor, identify and report on the Bank's overall risk profile
Requirements
  • Strong Operational Risk knowledge and experience, including RCSAs, Controls and Risk Libraries, Risk Event reporting, Risk Registers
  • Ability to deliver results and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to challenge constructively and provide advice and guidance as necessary
