Job Title: Retail Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Retail Assistant to join our team at Farmfoods in George St, Worcester.

Job Summary:

As a Retail Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales team in achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for customers, answering their queries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Assist customers in finding products, restocking shelves, and maintaining a tidy store environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs.
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately, handling cash and card payments.
  • Participate in stock management, including receiving and storing deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the store by suggesting improvements and implementing changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • A friendly and approachable demeanor, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and card transactions.
  • Ability to lift and move stock, and stand for long periods.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
