Vet Finders is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an Ambulatory Equine Veterinarian to join our team. As a Veterinary Surgeon with a focus on lameness, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that shares your passion for delivering exceptional care to horses.

We are seeking a vet with over two years of experience who has a minimum of 5 years' experience in lameness. This is an ideal chance to work closely with a visiting cardiologist, ophthalmologist, remedial farrier, two visiting surgeons, and advanced dental expert.

Our modern practice is based in Minstead, offering easy access to the coast and the Isle of Wight. We pride ourselves on a 'family feel' where everyone works together and supports each other. Decisions are made quickly, and new ideas are encouraged, allowing us to stay ahead of the curve.

We boast an impressive array of equipment, including X-ray systems, ultrasound units, and dental kits. Our vets are confident in their ability to provide the highest level of care to our patients. With client continuity at the forefront, you will see cases through from start to finish, building strong relationships with our clients.

The role can be full-time or part-time, with a minimum of 3 days a week required. Our rota is 1:4, with a day off in lieu after your weekend on duty. No routine visits after 4:30 pm, and non-urgent calls after 3 pm on Friday.

We offer a highly competitive salary package, including £45-60k DOE, a fully equipped work vehicle, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, VDS, BEVA, and RCVS fees paid for, medical insurance, and pension. Plus, a generous bonus scheme, with vets earning up to a third of their salary on a monthly basis.
