As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information and efficient accounting operations. You will work closely with the MDs and the Cluster Controller to ensure all local legal, tax and statutory reporting requirements are fulfilled, including liaising with local and group auditors and professional advisers.

You will be responsible for producing and analysing local financial reports, including revenue recognition, accruals calculation, reserves calculation and adjustments, and monitoring company performance against Annual Operating Plans/Forecasts. You will also review levels of working capital in the company to ensure it is kept at optimum levels in order to maximise cashflow.

Additionally, you will take a leading role in the preparation of Annual Operating Plans and Forecasts, and work together with the MDs and the Cluster Controller to ensure all local legal, tax and statutory reporting requirements are fulfilled.

You will also be responsible for implementing Group Finance initiatives in the company, monitoring progress and reporting back status and deviations from plans. You will develop and coach a strong and stable finance team, and credit collections management including credit limit determination, AR overdue tracking, settlement with external customers, cooperation with law firms engaged in collection.

Furthermore, you will plan cash flow for future periods and report cash flow and plans for cash flow to the parent company, working closely with Sales and Project Management for Projects profitability tracking. You will also support the Annual Physical stock check together with the Procurement and Logistics Manager, and work closely with the MDs of two business units and the Board of Directors on the financial issues and immediate notification of identified findings.

Finally, you will ensure the ERP system provides the necessary information for company reporting, and support the company in its maintenance of quality standards, contract negotiation and management of business utility contracts.

We are looking for a highly experienced and qualified Financial Controller who has a strong background in financial management and control. You will have a proven track record of delivering financial results and improving financial processes.

You will be a qualified accountant, preferably with ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualification, and have experience of working with good controls and processes. You will also have excellent business partner skills, with the ability to work closely with senior leadership and develop strong relationships.

Additionally, you will have strong people management skills, with the ability to develop and coach a strong and stable finance team.

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £70,000, plus a car allowance, bonus, and personal health insurance. You will also have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with 3 days in the office.
