Deputy Ward Manager Mental Health Position

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Deputy Ward Manager to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in South West London. As a member of our team, you will contribute to providing high-quality treatment for individuals with mental health needs.

Responsibilities- Assess and manage risk across the working environment, ensuring statutory requirements are met.
- Supervise a team of nurses, contributing to their professional development and appraisal.
- Act as a role model, promoting a culture of learning and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to assess and act on risks of harm, danger, and abuse.
- Deputise for the ward manager when necessary.
- Develop and implement therapeutic interventions as part of the care programme.
- RMN qualification with current active NMC Pin.
- Relevant post-registration experience.
- Eating Disorders experience desirable.
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder & Learning Disorder experience desirable.
