Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation that is committed to delivering high-quality care to its patients. We are seeking an experienced Cancer Treatment Scheduler to join our team in the Cancer Centre Day Care Unit.

About the Role

This is a Band 4 role that requires excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling appointments, coordinating treatments, and ensuring the smooth operation of our Cancer Centre Day Care Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule new patient referrals for systemic anti-cancer treatment in accordance with local procedures.
  • Liaise with patients and their families to ensure that they understand their treatment plans and requirements.
  • Work closely with the nursing team to coordinate chemotherapy and immunotherapy bookings.
Requirements
  • Relevant NVQ qualification or relevant study days.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience within the NHS/public sector.
