Machine Learning Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Research Scientist to join our team at CellVoyant. As a key member of our research team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the development of our AI models, driving innovation in research and development, and contributing to groundbreaking discoveries.
Key Responsibilities- Pioneering Research Advancements: Stay at the forefront of state-of-the-art research papers and cutting-edge methodologies in machine learning to drive innovation in our AI models, enabling predictive modeling, detection, classification, and pattern recognition of stem cell populations.
- Data Enrichment: Collaborate with computational biologists to identify and source open-source multi-modal data sets, enhancing the robustness of our AI models and ensuring data relevance and quality.
- Data Strategy and Proof of Concept: Develop data collection approaches to validate proof of concept for our AI models, particularly in the context of microscopy data analysis and genomics-related hypotheses.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong communication channels with cross-functional teams, including computational biologists, biologists, data scientists, and software engineers, to drive multidisciplinary research projects and integrate computer vision techniques into genomics research endeavors.
A strong track record of research publications in top-tier AI conferences, a Ph.D. Degree in a technical subject, and proficiency in programming languages like Python, cloud infrastructure, and relevant software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities, as well as a collaborative mindset and expertise in self-supervised ML and generative models.
Nice-to-have Skills or BackgroundExperience in genomics or bioinformatics research projects, microscopy data, and stem cell research projects in an academic, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology setting.
