About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our warehouse operations team in Erith, Kent. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a large team of warehouse staff to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse operations and reduce costs
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse activities
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and suppliers

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a warehouse operations management role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and quality control
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
