Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join Rentokil Initial plc in Dudley. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing of Purchase Invoices
  • Resolving internal and external queries via telephone and email
  • Providing support to accounts assistants
  • Administering supplier queries
  • Supplier statement reconciliations and resolution of differences
  • Escalation of invoice authorisation
  • Assisting with monthly accruals for management accounts
  • Processing of payments (BACS, CHAPS, Cheques, Direct Debits)
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable, maintaining general ledgers, VAT
  • Ability to deliver to strict guidelines and tight deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality concerning financial and employee files
  • Ability to maintain high accuracy while meeting deadlines
  • Understanding of audit controls
  • Excellent IT skills including Word/Excel
  • Self-motivation, enthusiasm and flexibility
  • Good spoken & written communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
