Team Manager Opportunity at Sanctuary Personnel Ltd

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a skilled Team Manager to join their Supporting Disabled Children Service Team in Wandsworth. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of up to £56,470 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of staff, including recruitment, induction, training, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Casework Management: Ensure all casework is assessed, prioritized, and actioned appropriately, providing a suitable response to meet the needs of children and their families.
  • Workload Allocation: Manage the allocation of workload across the team, monitoring and reviewing case records and plans to address any performance or quality issues.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain effective internal and external working relationships, promoting a positive team culture and collaboration.
  • Expert Advice: Provide professional advice and support on case work, ensuring compliance with the law and representing the local authority as required.
  • Innovation and Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of innovative ways of working, taking into account research and experience from own and other services.
  • Equality and Diversity: Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion, maintaining awareness of the equality and diversity protocol and creating a safe and welcoming environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience in working with adults in a social care context.
  • Experience of community and/or group work.
  • Knowledge of adult health and social care systems, agencies, and relevant legislation.
