Job Title: IT Security Risk Analyst
Are you an experienced IT security analyst seeking a new opportunity? Do you have a background in security operations or assurance?
We have a fantastic chance for an IT Security Risk Analyst to join our client, a leading energy company with significant growth plans. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with the expectation of being in your local office up to 2 days a week (Perth or Aberdeen).
To be eligible for this position, you must have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years and be willing to undergo security clearance.
As an IT Security Risk Analyst, you will perform analysis of assessment of tooling outputs, identifying, interpreting, classifying, and reporting perceived risk. Your responsibilities will include managing the implementation of controls or remediation of confirmed policy infringements, as well as tuning and documenting technical or administrative processes related to cyber security and risk.
You will also support business requirements around project initiatives requiring cyber security or risk and contribute to the operational state of the Cyber Security Management system (CSMS), ensuring quality and accuracy of documentation and procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in delivering operational security, governance, risk, and compliance, or penetration testing and exercising
- Knowledge of common security management frameworks such as NCSC CAF, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53/NIST CSF, or ISA/IEC 62443
- Ability to develop security and risk policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience
