Role Overview

As a Risk Intelligence Specialist at British Airways, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks that impact our Engineering operations. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity to join our Engineering Strategy and Transformation team, where you will work with the latest tools, techniques, and technologies to maximize the impact of Engineering in the short, medium, and long term.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and analyze data to identify risks and potential impact on Engineering operations
  • Generate scheduled monthly and ad-hoc Risk Reports for senior leadership
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and geopolitical events to assess potential risks
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure accuracy and relevance of risk assessments

Requirements:
  • Excellent research skills with the ability to gather and analyze data from multiple sources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Strong written communication skills for producing clear and concise reports
  • Ability to interpret complex information and communicate findings effectively
  • Analytical mindset
  • Proactive approach to risk management
