The Northamptonshire Children's Trust is seeking a dedicated Children's Welfare Specialist to join its safeguarding and assessment teams. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the welfare of children and young people in Northamptonshire.

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing interventions to safeguard children and support families in crisis. You will work closely with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children in your care.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are passionate about supporting children and young people, and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality social care, we would love to hear from you.

About the role

  • To assess, plan, and implement interventions to safeguard children and support families in crisis.
  • You will be required to build positive relationships with a diverse range of children, young people, and families, and to communicate effectively with them.
