Catering Supervisor Job Description

Lancashire County Council is seeking a dedicated Catering Supervisor to join our team at Favordale Residential Care Home in Pendle. As a key member of our catering service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, healthy meals for our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plans
  • Supervise and direct other employees to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Order and store supplies, maintaining accurate records and stock control

Requirements:

  • Recognised catering qualification and/or food hygiene certificate desirable
  • Experience in catering for large numbers an advantage

Working Hours/Days:

  • Covering a 2-week rota
  • Alternate weekends (enhancements payable)
  • 24 hours per week
