Deputy General Manager

Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment? As a Deputy General Manager at Searcys, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth, improving standards, and leading a high-performing team. Your expertise will be instrumental in setting annual budgets, monitoring targets, and implementing strategic plans to drive profitable sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Set annual budgets and deliver forecasts and yearly targets.
- Monitor monthly and quarterly targets, ensuring delivery of full-year targets.
- Establish strategic plans to drive profitable sales and improve standards.
- Recruit, motivate, develop, and manage the talents within the venue.
- Communicate client and company expectations to all levels across the venue.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Provide financial information to Support Office, Operations Director, and Executive team members.
- Ensure the venue meets statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation and procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years' industry experience in upmarket brands; at least 2 years' experience as General Manager.
- Financially astute with a proven track record of exceptional sales, pricing, and revenue management competencies.
- Experience of managing, hiring, and mentoring a team.
- Pre-Opening experience is advantageous.
- Strong process orientation; strong leadership abilities and organizational skills.
- Must be strategic, creative, and able to clearly communicate how plans will deliver on overall goals.
- Go-getter; comfortable taking ownership of projects and expanding scope of responsibilities.
- Outstanding PR and social integration skills to develop strong guest relations.
