Children Services Manager

Job Summary:
">We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our 5-bed residential care service for children and young people with mild learning disabilities and associated mental health needs.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for managing the home and staff team, providing inspirational care tailored to individual needs. You will deal with staff management issues promptly, ensuring policies and procedures are followed. You will also be responsible for creating a safe and stimulating environment that meets assessment, care, control, education, and health requirements while promoting emotional and physical wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the provision of high-quality care and support services
- Manage staff team and ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Develop and implement care plans and risk management strategies
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure quality standards are met
- Collaborate with professionals and families to achieve positive outcomes
Requirements:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete Level 5 within 2 years)
- At least 2 years' experience relevant to residential care in the last 5 years
- Extensive knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and associated quality standards
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Salary Information:
The salary for this role is £48,474 - £51,515 per annum, plus enhancements for unsocial hours and sleeping in duties. Time and a half is paid for weekend working (if applicable).
