Claire's Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Technologist (Global) to join our team.

This role is responsible for ensuring the products we sell across North America and Europe meet the highest standards. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of improving quality standards and compliance in a retail environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Quality & Compliance:
    1. Ensure products are tested and documented to meet safety and legal standards.
    2. Provide legal advice to buyers and internal teams as needed.
    3. Work with suppliers to improve quality standards and compliance.
    4. Assist the NA/EU quality teams and provide product assessments with practical solutions.
    5. Train regional and district managers on legal and quality standards.
  • Process Improvement:
    1. Monitor and produce legal updates for the team.
    2. Assist in developing product standards and testing protocols.
    3. Identify and liaise with appropriate laboratories for product testing.
  • Leadership & Training:
    1. Provide training on legal requirements to buyers, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders.
    2. Support induction training for new team members and managers.
    3. Offer expert guidance on quality and compliance issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a quality-focused role within a test house, retail environment, or legal consultancy.
  • Familiarity with EU and NA legal systems, particularly in prosecuting or defending cases.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including macros and pivot tables.
  • Bonus: Fluency in a European language (French, Spanish, or German preferred).

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum.
