Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities.
  • Lead and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to maintain our high culinary standards.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are upheld throughout the kitchen.
  • Manage stock, order supplies, and work to minimize waste.
  • Ensure dishes are prepared on time and meet our quality expectations.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in food production techniques and culinary practices.
  • Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Experience in supervising a kitchen team.
  • Leadership skills that inspire and motivate your team.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding dining experiences.
  • Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience cooking over fire, with a knack for creating flavorful, perfectly cooked dishes.
