Commodity Buyer

DorSuite is seeking an experienced Commodity Buyer to join our team. This role involves driving our existing procurement strategies and ensuring the seamless supply of materials critical to our production processes.

The successful candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, previous experience in procurement within a manufacturing setting, and adeptness in navigating complex supply chains. They will also have excellent negotiation and contract management skills.

This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, plus company performance bonus and benefits package.

• Research and onboard reliable suppliers for materials, services, and components
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals
• Evaluate supplier performance to ensure timely delivery, quality, and compliance with standards
• Place orders in a timely manner to meet production deadlines
• Analyse market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure purchased materials and components meet quality specifications and industry standards
• Visit supplier facilities when needed to assess their quality control practices
