PE Teacher Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified or unqualified Female PE Teacher to join our staff team on a full-time contract basis.

About the Role

In this role, you will be teaching PE across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to all pupils. Our school has a holistic approach to PE lessons, focusing on improving students' health and wellbeing, and encouraging students to become physically competent and promote a lifelong healthy approach to fitness.

You should have a good understanding of the PE national curriculum and be able to teach pupils at all ability levels. You will work within a small, dedicated PE teaching team and should have an engaging teaching approach, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire pupils.

About the School

This mixed secondary school is based in the Greenwich area and is a popular choice for the local community. Rated good by Ofsted, the school receives consistently good results in year 11 examinations. There is an established leadership team in place at the school and good opportunities for development across both the school.

Requirements
  • QTS or experience of teaching PE successfully at secondary level
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for PE
