Private Client Tax Director

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Director to lead our Private Client Tax team into its next phase of growth and success.
About the RoleAs a Private Client Tax Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality Private Client Tax work, guiding and advising colleagues in all technical tax matters, and developing and executing a business strategy that encompasses business development, workforce and succession planning, and the guidance and development of our people.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Private Client Tax team and be responsible for the delivery of high-quality Private Client Tax work.
- Guide and advise colleagues in all technical tax matters, using your experience to empower the team.
- Develop and execute a business strategy that encompasses business development, workforce and succession planning, and the guidance and development of our people.
- Build meaningful relationships with clients and be seen as a trusted advisor, crucial to their interests.
- Minimise professional risk, including the appropriate documentation of services provided, obtaining second opinions, and following well-established internal risk management processes.
- Be a Firm brand advocate and embody our core values and principles in all of your activities.
- Provide thought-leadership to external and internal audiences via multiple channels, including social media, article writing, event organisation, and direct updates to clients and colleagues.
- A tangible level of drive, appetite, and passion to become recognised as a leader in your field.
- The gravitas to quickly build lasting, meaningful relationships externally and internally.
- A superb track record and notable achievements of a technical and business nature in an already distinguished career within Private Client tax.
- Market-leading knowledge of the specific tax disciplines and tax matters relating to private clients.
