Howett Thorpe is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join their team on a six-month contract basis. This opportunity will provide the chance to work closely with the Financial Controller, assisting in the achievement of a swift and precise monthly closing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Posting, analysing, and managing accruals/prepayments for General Ledger (GL) accounts
  • Reconciling month-end GL data with billing records and uploading them to Sage
  • Conducting commercial analyses, including assessments of customer and product profitability along with providing explanatory narratives
  • Monitoring performance against budget and forecast, adjusting forecasts as necessary
  • Monitoring customer performance and ensuring billing accuracy via our billing platform
  • Supporting the integration of new businesses into the company's financial systems
  • Collaborating with commercial teams (sales and operations) to enhance comprehension of customers and products

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • Available immediately or on short notice
  • Able to drive and access to a car

This role offers an estimated salary of £50,000 per annum, considering the location in Camberley and the requirements of the position.
