Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team at Stepping Hill Hospital. As an Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing the daily administration of the Outpatient Booking Team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and monitor the outpatient waiting list and book appointments
- Process patient referrals into the trust
- Make outgoing calls to negotiate appointment dates and times with patients
- Access and update various IT systems, including the Trust Patient Administration System and the national Electronic Referral system
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of administrative procedures and a high level of customer service skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a strong attention to detail.
What You'll LearnIn this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge of the NHS and gain a deeper understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the healthcare sector.
