Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Qodea. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that enable the efficient processing and analysis of large, complex data sets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop automated data processing pipelines using Google Cloud Platform.
  • Implement and maintain databases and data storage solutions, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to design and optimize data models for analytical and reporting purposes.
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL tools such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Apache Airflow.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Location:

This role can be either fully remote or hybrid based depending on your preference. We have offices in various locations, and you can choose to work from any of these office locations as often as you like.
