Job Title: Tanker Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tanker Driver to join our team at GAP Group LTD. As a Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of waste and non-potable water to customer sites across the country.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Class 2 tanker vehicle to collect and transport waste and non-potable water to customer sites.
  • Ensure that all tankers are in a safe working position prior to emptying and that they are emptied in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Manage all deliveries and associated paperwork using our bespoke software systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service and manage customer queries in a professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience working within an HGV driving role, loading, delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites.
  • Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and valid Digital Tachograph card.
  • An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage customer queries in a professional manner.
