Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pastoral Tutor to join our team at our college in East London. As a Pastoral Tutor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and personal development of our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a coach and mentor to students, offering tailored support to help them achieve their goals.
- Monitor student attendance, academic performance, and personal development, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them.
- Support students with their post-college preparations, including higher education, apprenticeships, and employment.
- Collaborate with the wider Pastoral Tutor team and the Pastoral Leader to ensure every student thrives.
About You
- Experience delivering youth activities and supporting youth leadership and volunteering.
- Familiarity with youth voice programmes.
- Positive, adaptable, and highly organised with great time management skills.
- Eligibility to work in the UK, with an Enhanced DBS on the update service.
