Delivery Role Overview


At Royal Mail Group, we are seeking a skilled Driver with Postal Duties to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across the area.


Key Responsibilities


• Delivering Mail and Packages: You will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Driving Skills: You will need to possess a full UK manual driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.


Requirements


• Upbeat and Independent: You must be an upbeat and independent individual who is self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent Customer Service: You will need to provide excellent customer service to our customers, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
• Physical Demands: You will need to be happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather conditions.

• Competitive Pay: You will receive pay that is 10% above the market average in our sector, paid monthly with an hourly rate of £12.54p/hr.
• Overtime Pay: You will receive overtime pay at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate.
• Holiday Entitlement: You will receive 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata).
• Company Pension Scheme: You will be eligible for our company pension scheme with competitive contribution rates.
