Senior HVAC Engineer Job Description

Our client, a leading engineering specialist, is seeking a highly experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role is primarily remote with occasional visits to the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead HVAC projects within a regulated multidisciplinary environment, particularly in laboratory and life science sectors.
  2. Work independently on technical aspects with minimal supervision or possess specialist experience.
  3. Interpret project needs to ensure successful delivery.
  4. Complete detailed designs for all mechanical systems associated with the project.
  5. Direct others in producing detailed and performance specifications.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in delivering HVAC designs for similar building typologies.
  2. Working knowledge of TAS or IES for project allocation and direction.
  3. Proficiency with RevitMEP or other 3D design software.
  4. Knowledge of AutoCAD for project work allocation and direction.
Mechanical Skills:
  1. Proficiency with Hevacomp.
  2. Heat loss and heat gain calculations.
Qualifications:
  1. CIBSE / IET / IMechE Engineering Council accredited honours degree or equivalent experience for Chartership.
  2. IES or TAS training.
  3. RevitMEP training.
  4. BEng/BSc/MEng in an applicable engineering discipline.
