About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Lifeguard to join our team at Active Life. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our customers in and around the pool area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a safe and clean pool environment
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
- Monitor pool conditions and report any issues to management
- Participate in regular training and development to maintain and improve skills
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Ability to swim on your front and back
- Ability to swim 50m in under 60 seconds
- Ability to swim 200 meters continuously
- Ability to climb out of the pool unaided without using steps or a ladder
- Ability to pass a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) course
