Senior Manager Category Procurement

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Category Procurement - Hydraulics to join our team. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for managing the global category strategy for Hydraulics across our Building Construction Products division.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the collaboration with Hydraulics Systems and Components Engineering and suppliers to deliver quality, cost, and performance requirements for hydraulic components across BCP products.
- Develop and optimize a resilient world-class supply base through collaboration with suppliers, sites, and product groups.
- Manage a high-performing global team of supplier development engineers and purchasing professionals who manage the supply base to deliver on BCP's QCLDM requirements.
- Develop, mentor, and train personnel capable of delivering the Global BCP Hydraulics strategy.
- Lead supplier performance management for the Hydraulics Category and maintain the highest ethical and professional standards within our diverse global organization.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or business curriculum or extensive and demonstrated progressive experience in directly related roles.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles to procurement processes and a proven track record of managing complex strategic relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
- Professional certification in Purchasing and/or Inventory Management preferred.
- Competitive salary: £80,000 - £95,000 depending on experience.
- 27 days annual leave + bank holidays.
- 31% Bonus.
