Senior Risk Manager, B2B Payments Specialist

Amazon is seeking a seasoned Senior Risk Manager to join the B2B Payments and Lending team. As a key member of the Credit Strategy and Operations team, you will be responsible for managing the credit performance of the EU and UK Pay by Invoice portfolio.
The ideal candidate will possess strong people and credit management skills, with a proven track record of driving credit policy changes and procedures. You will be responsible for managing the portfolio from a risk perspective to drive spend while staying within a target loss rate.
Key Responsibilities- Developing credit strategies to profitably grow the invoice financing portfolio with a balance of risk controls and proactive identification of emerging portfolio hot-spots.
- Regularly evaluating and enhancing growth and loss mitigation policies, and driving net-new initiatives for on-boarding, underwriting, and exposure management.
- Driving innovation in processes and exceeding expectations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, primarily driving innovation on behalf of small and large buyers alike.
- Breaking down complex problems into smaller, simplified work streams.
- Articulating to different audiences in both verbal and written communication.
- Working in a fast-paced, highly demanding, and often ambiguous environment with strong attention to detail.
The B2B Payments and Lending team provides invoicing, working capital, and payment acceptance solutions to Amazon Business customers, sellers, and other small business customers across Amazon. We are part of the global Consumer Payments organization, who aims to delight our customers by building payment experiences and financial services that are trusted, valued, and easy to use from anywhere in any way.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience in compliance, audit, or risk management.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.
- Working knowledge of SQL and/or other scripting languages such as SAS/Python/R.
- Knowledge of credit lifecycle including PD/LGD/EAD.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
- Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles/Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent.
- Master's degree or equivalent.
