Salary and Benefits">The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary, estimated to be in the range of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Job Description">We are seeking a talented Engineering Team Leader to direct the daily activities of the shift teams engaged on breakdown and preventative maintenance for the plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical equipment, with experience in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities">- Maximise plant reliability, performance, product quality, and safety
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, policies, and standards
- Lead the engineering team to deliver planned and reactive maintenance
- Use SAP PM effectively to support business-led engineering reliability strategy
- Structured and practical engineering training (e.g. apprenticeship/HNC/degree)
- Knowledge and experience of maintenance in an FMCG environment
- HandS/Food Safety systems and legislation knowledge (e.g. PUWER, IOSH)
- IT and PC knowledge (e.g. Office, SAP)
- Effective communication and coaching skills
