Folkestone Girls School is seeking a PSHE and RE Educator to join our Humanities Faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to inspire students and model ambitious and engaging teaching practices.

The successful candidate will contribute to the continued development of teaching and learning, building upon the excellent foundations already established. They will be committed to ensuring an aspirational, relevant, and engaging curriculum is delivered to all our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain high expectations in planning, delivering, and assessing KS3 and 4 PSHE and RE lessons.
  2. Possess in-depth knowledge of the PSHE and RSE curriculums and their progression.
  3. Be flexible and creative in designing effective learning sequences that align with objectives and student needs, incorporating recent developments.
  4. Utilise a variety of teaching, learning, and behaviour management strategies to personalise learning and help all students reach their potential.

The weekly hours for this role are 25 hours per week, plus boarding/tutor duties one evening per week. The estimated salary for this role is £33,000-£43,000 per annum, depending on experience.
