About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our community mental health team, you will provide vital support and therapeutic time to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support and spend therapeutic time with service users to promote recovery and community integration.
  • Collaborate with internal and external agencies to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assist the Shift Co-ordinator/Lead Professional in assessing, planning, and evaluating care plans.

Person Specification

  • Advanced Apprenticeship in (Mental) Health and Social Care or NVQ 3 in (Mental) Health and Social Care with demonstrable evidence of numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Experience of being a service user or carer.
