Senior Customer Tax Manager

Salary Circa £75,000

The Tax team at Aviva provides expert tax services to the UK companies within the Group and to Aviva Investors. As a Senior Customer Tax Manager, you will work with colleagues across five locations to provide advice and support relating to life products, including bonds, pensions, and endowment type policies, and tax matters attached to customers from Aviva products.

This role will focus on providing technical support on chargeable events reporting and any corresponding HMRC controversy. You will also be responsible for ensuring accurate and appropriate customer and product tax documentation across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support on chargeable events reporting and HMRC controversy.
  • Ensure accurate and appropriate customer and product tax documentation.
  • Work with colleagues across five locations to provide advice and support.
Requirements:
  • Good technical knowledge of life products, including bonds, pensions, and endowment type policies.
  • Strong customer and product tax knowledge and experience.
  • Ability to evaluate and effectively communicate the impact of new developments.
  • Strong capabilities in MS Office applications.
