Job Title: Team Leader Residential

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Team Leader to join our client's Residential Children's Home in Grantham. In this role, you will support the Home Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the home while providing high-quality care to the children and young people.

About the Role:

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining records, and implementing care plans to foster a safe and nurturing environment. You will work closely with the Home Manager to ensure the home runs smoothly and that the children receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Home Manager in daily operations and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records for each child and ensure compliance with care plans.
  • Supervise and mentor residential support workers.
  • Provide direct care and support to children, ensuring their physical, social, and emotional needs are met.
  • Respond to safeguarding concerns and ensure the safety of all residents.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • A good general standard of education; willingness to work towards Level 3 Diploma in Children's & Young People's Workforce or Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
  • Previous experience in childcare or residential settings (at least one year).
  • A valid manual driving license is essential for transporting young people.
  • Commitment to working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
