About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Learning Manager to join our team at Lloyd's Register. As a key member of our organization, you will play a central role in establishing a culture of learning that drives employee performance and aligns with our growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement learning initiatives to enable employee career development
  • Leverage our learning technology and resources to create opportunities for learning relevant to organizational needs
  • Lead the organization's approach to apprenticeships and own learning design best practice guidelines
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to the learning design team as line manager
  • Support the thinking around the learning technology roadmap and Lloyd's Register's career development portal
  • Work closely with external suppliers to deliver key projects and ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, and in line with branding and quality standards
  • Manage health and safety risks and ensure compliance with health and safety rules, instructions, systems, and legal requirements

Requirements

  • Experience of leading significant elements of the learning agenda for a medium-sized organization
  • Experience of working in a global organization with global stakeholders
  • Knowledge of learning design and line management experience
  • Experience of operating in a COE model
